PCLC 2017 – Frequently Asked Questions

Who should attend this conference?

This conference is for pastors, leaders, church workers, and believers. It’s 3-days of inspiration and information on innovative 21st Century ministry techniques. This is a hands-on conference, where we’ll have seminars on all types of ministries from church administration to music, dance, youth and childrens ministry to prison ministry, intercessory prayer, ministerial training, men and women’s ministry and much more.

Pastors should bring their entire staff as they will be equipped and inspired with techniques that can be immediately implemented to launch the ministry into a new dimension. Greater Grace Temple has over 250 ministries.

Attendees will be able to learn about various areas of ministry in the different sessions and even interface and ask questions of our ministry leaders. In some cases, they’ll be able to “participate” in actual ministry outreach and gain hands-on experience in minstering to those in need.

What is the Bishop’s VIP Luncheon, and how much does it cost?

The Bishop’s VIP Luncheon is a highlight of the conference. It’s a grand opportunity to enjoy good food, and fellowship, as well as a chance to get your specific ministry questions answered by Bishop Ellis and First Lady Crisette. The Q & A session happens at the end of the event.  It’s open to everyone (all attendees are VIPs in our eyes). Get tickets soon online or when you arrive.  Watch for details on this year’s luncheon,

Will the sessions be repeated?

Some sessions will be repeated. A final list of workshops will be available at registration.  Some workshops offer the same info during both sessions. No sessions are scheduled for Friday afternoon.

All sessions will be held at Greater Grace Temple, 23500 W. Seven Mile Road, Detroit, MI

How should I dress for the conference?

Dress “comfortable” for the conference. Business casual is by far most popular, and we recommend it. Some people “dress up,” but it’s not required. As for the weather, it can vary, but average highs in May range from 68-73. Night time temps can fall into the 50s or upper 40s.

Do Grace Covenant Partners receive special discounts?

Yes, our Partners enjoy a generous 50% discount on all registration fees and other conference costs.

Will lunch and dinner be available on-site at the conference?

Lunch only. You will have the option of enjoying the offerings of our first class banquet staff at a nominal fee or choosing from local restaurants and fast food outlets. We’ll also have some light snacks available after each service for a nominal fee.
