What We Believe

We believe in the power of faith to transform lives and bring people closer to God. Our foundation is built on the teachings of Jesus Christ, guiding us to live with compassion, integrity, and purpose. We hold firmly to the power of prayer, the strength of community, and the importance of love in action.

We believe that every person has a divine purpose, created with unique gifts and potential. Our mission is to support each other in discovering and walking in that purpose, building a life that honors God and uplifts those around us.

We also believe in the power of grace. No matter where you’ve been or what you’ve faced, there is always a path forward. Faith is a journey, and we are committed to walking it together, encouraging one another to grow and make a meaningful impact in the community.

FAQs

Below is information for our frequently asked questions. If you have more questions, please feel free to contact us!

WHAT TO WEAR

We invite you to come as you are. Many people dress up for service, others wear business casual which seems to be most popular. The bottom line is that dress isn’t the issue. Instead get ready to experience a truly warm and welcoming atmosphere with open arms of God’s love.

PARKING

We have a wealth of parking space on site and in our outlying lots. Shuttle service is provided on Sundays and at special events from the outer lots to and from the church. All of our lots are monitored daily by our friendly uniformed church security personnel, who are happy to assist you with parking.  We even have personnel on golf carts to help those who are unable to walk long distances.

WHERE DO I SIT?
You are free to sit an any available seat.  If the service has already begun, an usher will help guide you.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN THE SERVICES?
Service begins at 10AM each Sunday. You will be welcomed by the sounds of our praise team to help lead you into praise and worship. Feel free to stand and sing along! You are encouraged to praise by raising your hands, clapping, and joining the praise team in song. Our Senior Pastor, Bishop Charles H. Ellis III will then lead the service into the message and scripture.

PRAYER AND BAPTISM
During the final moments of the service, an altar call provides an opportunity for anyone seeking prayer to receive it. Our ministers are also available afterward to baptize those who desire it. There’s no need to bring anything, we provide everything you’ll need. Our team will take the time to explain the significance of baptism and answer any questions you may have.

OUTREACH

Our outreach ministry is rooted in genuine care for the community. We strive to meet people where they are, offering support through events like our Back To School Festival, Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway, and Christmas Bicycle Giveaway. Whether it’s gathering in Cass Park or sharing messages through our illustrated sermons, our goal is to serve with compassion and build lasting relationships that reflect God’s love in action.

Ministry For All Ages

We offer ministries designed to support and engage people of all ages, providing opportunities to grow in faith, connect with others, and serve our community at every stage of life.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

Serving children ages 3 through 5th grade, our Children’s Ministry provides a safe and welcoming environment where kids can discover God’s love in ways that are fun and meaningful. Through interactive lessons, music, and activities designed for each age group, we help children grow in faith and build a strong spiritual foundation. The puppet ministry, interactive illustrated sermons, and field trips are just a few of the exciting and engaging offerings tailored for children.

ELEMENTARY CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

The Elementary Christian Education program serves children ages 4 to 12, offering age-appropriate lessons that help them understand God’s Word and grow in their faith. Through engaging stories, activities, and discussions, children are encouraged to develop strong biblical values like kindness, honesty, and responsibility in a nurturing and supportive setting.

IN HIS SERVICE (IHS)

IHS serves students in 6th through 12th grade who have questions about the Bible, God, or life. This open discussion group uses games, debates, and personal stories to connect Scripture to everyday life and help build a strong foundation for the future. Participants are encouraged to explore their faith in a supportive, faith-centered community.

CHILDREN'S CAMP

For kids ages 4 to 12, Children’s Camp shares real stories that teach good character. Through fun talks, children learn about qualities like kindness, honesty, responsibility, and teamwork. They also enjoy themed activities, crafts, and field trips that help bring these lessons to life.

YOUTH MINISTRY

Serving ages 12 to 25, our Youth Ministry is a place where questions are welcomed—no matter how simple or complex. Together, we explore the Bible, breaking down its teachings and discovering how they apply to everyday life. Through thoughtful discussion, engaging activities, and real-life support, we help young people grow in faith, find purpose, and navigate the challenges they face with confidence
